A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and senior Product Manager with strong digital distribution experience and an in-depth knowledge of growing a diverse European product portfolio. You will need strong commercial strategic skills and a track record of implementing key digital product strategies to grow direct revenues. The primary responsibility for the Senior Digital Holiday Product Manager is to ensure the holiday product and service offer meets the end to end design through the development and delivery of a digital holiday product, to realise the commercial ambitions.
Using your modern tour-operating experience you will have managed packaged/de-packaged holidays, dynamic pricing and a strong understanding of API’s and digital distribution.
Fluent French speaking would be advantageous and you must have a deep intuitive understanding of different working cultures.
Your experience will enable you to shape and drive the holiday product business strategy, anticipating market trends and consumer behaviour. Identifying opportunities to capitalise on those trends with a strong commercial track record and experience in multiple European locations from the transportation/travel/tour operations sector. Your role will include understanding and advising on fluid pricing Vs fixed price tour operator model, Business Model Benefit setting and monitoring, Pricing engine methodology and Product pricing & margins
You will lead the definition and delivery of the strategy and prioritised roadmap for digital product and services – in line with the overall product roadmap and drive product development from ideation, research, design, development through to launch of user-centric products, including how to support the execution of brand campaigns. Define and track metrics to assess success and failure of products and lead the decommissioning / replacement of digital products and services that do not perform to the required metrics.
Working closely with the digital, sales and Commercial teams, you will need strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders at Director level and be able to build successful relationships remotely.
Although currently working in a “virtual” world – there would be an expectation of frequent travel to France and other UK Office on the South Coast. Flexibility to travel and to be primarily based in Portsmouth or Plymouth in the future desired.
