Stats just released by the recruitment industry’s representative body Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) show that recruitment activity is up. The report, which covers April 2010 to March 2011, details an uplift in annual industry turnover by 25.3% and permenant placements by volume up by 38%. It’s a very positive set of figures, but we all fear that the economy has stalled since the Spring. Also number of people working in recruitment has gone up 13.1% to 91,114 this year. Our Gail Kenny team increased from 8 to 9, coincidentally also a 13% rise!!
